About me

My work is an ongoing exploration of emotion, memory, and cultural resonance, expressed through color, rhythm, and movement. I was born in Rajasthan, India, where the desert landscape, vibrant traditions, and mythological stories woven into daily life shaped my earliest understanding of visual storytelling. I began my practice in Rajasthan, India, where I participated in local exhibitions and engaged closely with the regional art community. During this time, I was invited to meet and discuss art with Pratibha Patil, the first female President of India. Now based in San Francisco, I continue this journey in a new context, blending heritage and contemporary life into paintings that invite reflection, serenity, and connection.

Stories from Hindu mythology often guide my work, reimagined through a personal and cultural lens that connects the divine and the everyday. Color and texture are central to my process, evolving over fifteen years into a language of luminous whites, crisp black lines, and layered surfaces that evoke movement and emotion. Recent paintings such as Fierce and Cosmic Dancer reflect this evolution, celebrating energy, balance, and transformation. My work continues to bridge myth and modernity, emotion and form, offering moments of stillness and connection within a vibrant and ever-changing world.
